Kevin Franz - Author of the Castle Rose series
Born in Milwaukee, raised in West Allis, Wisconsin, Kevin attended Illinois Benedictine College where he received a degree in business and accounting, and a minor in computer science.
Kevin currently resides in Plainfield, Ill with his lovely wife, Denise, his daughters, Rachel, and Lisa, and his son, Michael. Kevin has always had a vivid imagination and a talent of telling tall tales.
The Castle Rose Series began as simple bedtime stories he told his children before they went to sleep at night. At his wife's urging, he began to write the stories down. It is Kevin's sincere hope that you and your children enjoy these stories as much as he has enjoyed writing them, and his children have enjoyed hearing them.
Marilyn Stigler - Artist for the Castle Rose series
Marilyn was raised in New Berlin, Wisconsin. She attended UW-Oshkosh and obtained a degree in art education.
Marilyn currently resides on a working farm in Waukesha, Wisconsin with her husband Bob, three dogs, several cats, a few hogs, and beef cattle too many to count. She is proud of her five grown children, Michael, Shari, Tom, Mark, and David, and her new grandson, Little Lord Gavin.
Marilyn's love for art and children has led her to a 21 year career as an elementary school art teacher for the School District of West Allis - West Milwaukee, et al. She has enjoyed doing the artwork for the Castle Rose Series, and looks forward to expanding her new career as an illustrator.
